light brown; yellowish [golden] brown; tan; tawny.

●きつね色に焦げる be roasted [cooked] (to a) golden brown

・きつね色にこんがり焼く toast 《bread》 (to a) golden brown

・タマネギがきつね色になったら肉を加えます. When the onions are browned, add the meat.
